CodeHider.com provides an online tool for obfuscating JavaScript code. The Service is designed to make your code more difficult to read and reverse-engineer, thereby protecting your intellectual property from casual theft. The Service is not intended to be an unbreakable security solution.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree to notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for the code you submit to the Service.
  • You must have the legal right to use and submit the code for obfuscation.
  • You agree not to use the Service to obfuscate malicious code, including but not limited to viruses, malware, or code intended for illegal activities.
  • You are responsible for maintaining a backup of your original, unobfuscated source code. We are not responsible for any loss of original code.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. WE PROVIDE THE SERVICE WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • THE SERVICE WILL FUNCTION UNINTERRUPTED, SECURELY, OR BE AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME OR LOCATION.
  • THE OBFUSCATED CODE WILL BE COMPLETELY IMMUNE TO REVERSE-ENGINEERING OR DEOBFUSCATION.
  • THE OBFUSCATED CODE WILL BE FREE OF BUGS OR ERRORS, OR THAT ANY ERRORS WILL BE CORRECTED.
  • THE RESULTS OF USING THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR EXPECTATIONS.

5. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL CODEHIDER, NOR ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR AGENTS, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.
  • ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE.
  • ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, FOR THE USE OF THE SERVICE.

6. Intellectual Property

We do not claim any ownership rights over the code you submit to our Service. You retain all rights to your original and obfuscated code. We claim ownership only of the Service itself, including our website, branding, and the underlying obfuscation technology.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is based, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
